Google’s Rather Mysterious Pixel 3 Confirmed via Leaks

It has been quite a while since the tech world has been thinking about Pixel 3 — also, probably, a Pixel 3 XL — but Google hasn’t been so open about. Given the time gap between the launch of Pixel 2 and its larger-sized counterpart, it was high-time for Google to tease or announce the device. However, as to everyone’s surprise, Google Pixel 3 and a few other devices have been confirmed via a tipster, who is known for leaks with high probability. Known by his Twitter handle @evleaks, Evan Blass has confirmed his tip that Google will be launching its Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL in an event to be held in September or October of this year.

There are also a few other things that Evan Blass added to the details of the devices. He mentioned that both devices will be quite expensive, compared to the existing Pixel devices. In addition to that, users can expect the standard options of today’s flagships like a thinner bezel and a better display. That having said, the tipster hasn’t added any confirmation regarding the hardware addition, but just continued mentioning that devices will be launched in a hardware-focused event. Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL were of course noted for the best camera quality and better UI.

Evan Blass added that the event would not be exclusive for Pixel 3 and XL. According to a reliable source, he says that the event will also mark the launch of two more things — Pixel Earbuds and a smartwatch with the Pixel branding. The latter has become so important for Google since the company would have the best chance at giving the Android WearOS some identity. That having said, with the leaks in limelight, all eyes are on Pixel 3, especially considering how it would enhance the total experience with the help of Android P.
